What Slaying Really Means
Slaying is more than just a word—it’s a mindset, a journey, and a celebration. To slay is to step into an experience one way and come out the other side stronger, more confident, and proud of what you’ve accomplished. Whether it’s buying your first home, selling a home to move into the next chapter of your life, renovating a property, or finally making that dream investment—you didn’t just do it, you SLAYED it.
Slaying is about embracing change, owning your journey, and letting confidence shine through. It’s about bringing your full self to the table—your personality, your creativity, your style—and not being afraid to stand out. Just like in fashion, where we hear how someone “slayed” their look because of the confidence they radiated, slaying in real estate is about the transformation and pride that comes with each step of the process.
Yes, the journey can be stressful at times. But sticking with it, pushing through, and accomplishing your goals is where the magic happens. That’s slaying. It’s having fun, being bold, being unapologetically you, and letting others see themselves in your journey.
When you close on a home, don’t just hold a sign and smile for the camera—dance, laugh, cry, wear your favorite outfit (or a silly one!), sing out loud, and showcase YOU in that moment. Because slaying isn’t just about reaching the finish line—it’s about celebrating how far you’ve come. Don’t just show that you did it… show that you SLAYED it!
Buying or selling a home is more than just a transaction — it’s a life-changing experience. That’s why you deserve a Realtor® who combines market expertise, personal experience, and a genuine passion for helping people succeed.
I’m Ashlee Croft, also known as The Home Slayer — a Phoenix-based Realtor®, investor, and new build insider who is committed to making your real estate journey unique, empowering, and fun.
Before becoming a Realtor®, I worked in production management, where I mastered organization, process efficiency, and attention to detail. These skills now help me ensure that every client I work with — whether buying, selling, or investing — enjoys a smooth, streamlined real estate experience.
My career in real estate began in new home sales, where I quickly became one of the top 3 sales agents in the nation. Working directly with home builders gave me insider knowledge of the new construction process, builder contracts, and negotiation tactics — insights I now use to protect my clients and maximize their results.
I don’t just sell real estate — I live it. Over the years, I’ve purchased and managed five properties using FHA, Conventional, and Hard Money financing. My experience spans:
Because I’m both a Realtor® and an investor, I understand the importance of equity, ROI, and strategy in every deal. Sellers can trust me to push for the highest possible price, while buyers and investors benefit from my ability to spot opportunities others miss.
I also request a retainer fee upfront from my clients. This ensures that I can dedicate my full time, energy, and expertise exclusively to those who are committed — because when I partner with you, I’m all in.
My brand, The Home Slayer, isn’t just a name — it’s a promise. I’m here to help you:
With me, you’ll gain more than a Realtor — you’ll gain a trusted advisor, fierce negotiator, and partner who helps you “Slay it Like You Mean It.”
For me, real estate is not just about houses — it’s about people, families, and creating spaces where life happens. My passion for helping others comes from my own life story. I come from a family with disabilities, and those experiences have shaped me into a strong advocate, a compassionate professional, and a Realtor® who understands the true meaning of home.
I’ve seen firsthand the strength, resilience, and challenges faced by people with disabilities. My mother lives with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and my sister was born with Cerebral Palsy. Their journeys have taught me the importance of patience, advocacy, accessibility, and above all — the power of family support.
This is why I proudly participate in the Multiple Sclerosis Walk every year for my mother, and why I stay involved with Ability360, an incredible organization that supports independence and empowerment for people with disabilities, in honor of my sister.
Family isn’t just important to me — it’s my foundation. It’s what drives me to work hard for my clients and to make sure every step of the real estate process is handled with care and respect.
These personal experiences influence the way I serve as your Realtor:
Being “The Home Slayer” isn’t just about real estate — it’s about empowering people to achieve goals they may not have thought possible. Whether it’s a family buying their first home, an investor growing their portfolio, or a seller ready for their next chapter, I bring the same values I’ve lived my whole life: strength, compassion, advocacy, and family.
